1) Get married and postpone the party:

“Can I get married and have a party later on?” You don’t really have to do both on the same day. If the day you chose for your wedding is an important date for you, you can get married and move in with your partner and then when life gets back to normal again throw your party.

2) Plan an online live wedding:

Yes, Coronavirus may have prevented us from communicating face to face but it won’t be able to do so online! You can plan a live video conference online whether through Facebook or Zoom and celebrate with your close friends and family. If you plan on doing this take care of the following points:

• If you’re using Facebook make sure to create a room and add everyone on it.

• If you’re using Zoom don’t forget to make an account a day or two before the wedding.

• Keep in mind that you only get 40 minutes free time on Zoom which means you have to plan your time right in case you want the party to include any traditional rituals like wearing the rings. Also, keep in mind that the guests will want to congratulate you one by one.

• Make sure your internet is fast and set for the occasion and remind your family and friends to do so as well.

• Tell your guests to mute the speakers when someone else is talking so you can all hear each other.

• Don’t forget to record the wedding! You have to memorize the occasion especially that it’s happening in quite an unconventional way and during a global pandemic.

• Ask your guests to dress-up for the occasion to make the live conference more believable.

3) If you invite people over... Don’t forget social distancing:

Weds360 shows its total support of maintaining social distancing, and we wish everyone to abide by the laws and quarantine established by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.

In case you decided to have guests over for your wedding try not to invite more than 10 people. Don’t forget to take pictures together to remember the day. If there are elders who cannot make it either online or at the party you can pass by their house to see them while keeping your distance and don’t forget to get your picture taken for the memory.
