The Groom: The Day before the Wedding

Large

Tomorrow is your wedding day. It’s time to sit down and remember when you first met the girl of your dreams. It’s time to remember each and every single thing you love about her; her laugh, her eyes when she smiles, her sweet nature, her kind heart, her wittiness, her graciousness, and everything else that you’re yet to discover about her.

It was pure coincidence that brought you two together. To be more precise, it was serendipity. Hold on to that thought as you get ready for tomorrow.

Sleep well:

We know it’s the big day tomorrow and you’re probably jumping up and down from all the excitement! However, you need to tone down the craziness a bit and relaaaaax! Even if you go out with either your fiancé or your buddies, make sure you end the night early. You must sleep well to be able to sustain your energy for the big day ahead.

Disconnect:

In order to relax and have a great night’s sleep, you’ll need to disconnect from all online platforms because they can be truly distracting. Try to disengage from any trivial matters that could wait.

Take care of your overall wellbeing:

It’s your night, handsome! Stay healthy and eat nutritious foods, stay away from any junk or exotic platters. Stay hydrated and cut down a bit on caffeine. Don’t over-do it at the gym if you don’t want sore muscles on such an important day!

Take her to dinner:

Take your fiancé out to dinner. Have a last romantic date as an unmarried couple, remember together how you two first met, and bring back some of your best memories.

Get a couple’s massage:

Treat your fiancé and surprise her. A great way for the both of you to relax and enjoy your day is to get a massage. Schedule a couple’s massage, pick her up, and head to the spa. You could go to dinner after or head to the movies to watch a fun film together.

Watch a fun movie:

If you prefer to stay home and relax, you could watch a fun film with your mates or with your family. Choose a film that is sure to put you in the right mood!

Choose your boi/lad:

Delegate people to take care of last-minute tasks for you and don’t distract yourself. Assign your closest homie with any extra tasks on the wedding day, like paying the vendors or being in charge of answering your calls.

Prepare your outfit:

Finalize together your final touches and arrangements regarding your tuxedo, shoes, undergarments, and anything you’ll wear to your wedding, and place it all aside, ready for you. Check that everything is polished, ironed, and is smelling great.

Pack your stuff:

Pack everything you need for your wedding day. Whether you’re getting ready at home or at the venue, make sure you pack every single thing you need with you. And it goes without saying that you’ll need to pack your honeymoon bag in case you’ll be heading to the airport right after the wedding.

Double-check with vendors:

Both of you will need to do some quick double-checking on vendors to make sure everything is set and ready, with no obstacles or distractions.

Surprise her:

Prepare a surprise for her on the day of the wedding. Get her a gift, write her a love letter, you decide! While you’re both busy getting ready, you could surprise her with a romantic gesture that neither of you will ever forget. Show her your gratitude and dying enthusiasm for finally becoming her husband.
