The Styles

There are so many styles to look out for this new season of bridal wear, although one thing is common in all the different designs. Think flowing light fabrics that work well for outdoor wedding venues. Considering that most of the weddings held during lockdown and quarantine are held outdoors in large gardens and villas to keep safety precautions in check, the dresses should reflect a sort of breezy and semi-casual appeal and style.

What To Look For

These are the things you should keep an eye on when thinking of the new wedding gown styles and different dresses to consider for the different venues you might be debating. Colourful florals are all the rave whether in long decadent gowns or short and sweet dresses for an outdoor, afternoon wedding. The idea of playing around with different soft undertones of fabric colours along with the ivory or true white creates beautiful shadows especially when the floral elements of the design are highlighted.

Beyond just floral, feathers are also an important addition to the new trends of bridal wear this year. From soft feathering at the train to huge feather additions in the sleeves and embellishments all throughout the gown, playing around with feathers has never been so fun. Another trend that isn’t going away is the pantsuit look, whether a full pantsuit or just a regular suit there is no denying that this trend will stay for a while.
