Spring Colours For The Best Tropical Weddings

Large

Spring weddings are here, and the season has begun for all the beautiful, floral, and over the top feminine and outdoor weddings we love and wait to see every year. It’s safe to say the wedding season began with a bang with Dina Dash’s engagement, which had a beautiful short floral laced short dress, and we can’t wait what’s in store for the rest of the season from both celebrities and happy couples that are getting coupled up this spring.

When planning a spring wedding or expecting to attend one, there are a few things that you can expect and of course, colors are one of the main things. Colors are everything in spring because much like the season they bloom and blossom and this is the chance to play around with all of them in all their different shades.

Bright And Cool

For a spring wedding, you want to mix the colors to feel like the transitional season, so incorporating bright and cool colors together, like a bright warm yellow or mustard paired with a cool dark blue, is a great way to do so. It gives you freedom with things like the flower arrangements and designs and also with the bridesmaid dresses and the brides accenting colors in her overall aesthetic. Not too mention if it’s a sunset wedding the yellow would work great in the morning and the cool dark or navy blue is great to show at night when the wedding continues into the night.

Mint And Coral

Pastels are the way to go when thinking about spring weddings, they are very warm and inviting but not too bright and overpowering. Did we mention that they pair great with white as well? When thinking of pairing pastels together it’s important to pick to shades that are opposite of each other and contrast so that the usual white that’s used throughout the wedding is complimentary to both of them but also all three work together as well. Mint and coral are great options because both work for an afternoon spring wedding and neither are overpowering as colors, so putting them together would create a very soft and inviting atmosphere that feels overall very comfy and cute.

Lavender And Green

Nothing says spring more than lavender and green. The purple works great any time of the year but lavenders appeal is specifically more present during spring because it emits a feeling of overall calmness and adaptability in regards to color and works with so many different options. Whether it’s a strong pink or light green, or maybe even a pastel blue, lavender works with almost all the colors and is a great option especially if you are considering an outdoor garden wedding as well.
