Songs can make or break any party, and your wedding is no different. Although almost all weddings hire bands and DJs to take control of the magical night. Sometimes you find the dance floor a bit dry from time to time as the musicians try to transition out of one mood to the next, or just get unlucky with a bad choice of song. However, there are some specific songs that play in every wedding, regarding of the theme, couple, or location, especially in Egyptian weddings

The Arabic Go-Tos 

There is no such thing as an only English Egyptian wedding, even if you are not physically in Egypt, a proper Egyptian wedding has a criteria for it to be considered a culturally accurate event. The music is definitely on the list of criteria especially the Arabic songs that must play so that the entire guest list can enjoy. Amr Diab is of course in the mix of this playlist, so is Tamer Hosny, some even choose instead of just letting the DJ play their songs, they hire them to come and perform themselves. If not either one of the two biggest Egyptian pop sensations, there are also other options that are gaining lots of popularity such as Esseily, and Mohamed Hamaki.

It doesn’t just stop at Amr Diab, Nancy Ajram also has to make an appearance with at least one song in the playlist usually being A W Nos. A forever iconic jam that gets everyone girls and guys alike excited and jumping due to its catchy beat and popular culture influence. 

There are also fun tracks such as Bushret Kheir by Hussien Al Jassami and some newage rap and sha3by tracks like songs by Hamo Bika and Wegz.
