Large

Last but definitely not least is the wedding ride arrangments. Your wedding date is approaching and the adrenaline is off the charts! With just one month to go, you need to start double-checking EVERYTHING. After making sure that at least the majority of things are smoothly falling into place, you need to shift your attention to the last touches, starting from the very basic question of how to get to your own wedding in one piece. When it comes to your wedding day, arriving at your wedding in style is not just about how classy your suit or gown is!

You need to arrange the entrance and departure to and from your wedding in advance. Never leave it to the last minute, even if it seems like a simple procedure that may not require much planning. Just remember that simple does not mean trivial or minor.

Choosing your wedding ride and how you arrive at your wedding depends on various factors. But first, you should decide on your transportation needs:

How many cars do you need to complete the fleet of the wedding cars “Zaffa” that will escort you to your wedding party and perhaps, later on, to your new home? Other than the main couple’s ride, you need not put into consideration who has a ride or who doesn’t except, of course, your close family members. The rest of your family and friends should be able to take care of their own rides.

Renting:

You need to decide whether or not you want to rent a special car for your wedding day. Some people prefer only to rent a cozy car for the bride and groom, others choose to rent a limo, which of course could accommodate a larger number of people. Whether you decide to rent or not, just make sure that you especially customize it for the big day.

Destination wedding:

In case you guys decide on having a destination wedding, you need to make sure to rent enough buses or vehicles to transport the guests. It goes without saying that you have to first decide on the number of guests before reserving the busses. Another option you can consider if you’re having a small wedding is fixing for carpooling with your friends and family instead and forget about renting.

Your budget:

Your fixed budget will narrow down your wedding ride choices. For starters, according to it, you can easily decide whether to rent a car, to begin with, or not. If you decide to go for that, then your budget, again, should help you select the car you want to ride in. Pay attention to the price variation and the fact that a Ford Mustang, for instance, doesn’t cost the same as a classic Beatle does.

The style of the car:

Are you in favor of an extravagant entrance with white doves flying about or of a simple, unfussy way in? The important thing is to ensure that the style of the vehicle that you pick matches the theme of the wedding. If your wedding is more on the classic side, you could rent a fancy limo or if it has a vintage feel to it, you could perhaps opt for a vintage Cadillac or a Buick. If you see yourselves as an adventurous couple, you could arrange arriving on a motorbike, especially if it’s a destination wedding and the bride’s gown can take the heat.

Reservation:

Please don’t forget the most important part of this whole planning process; you must reserve your car no later than a month before the wedding. Double check with the car rental company regarding the date, price, and time of arrival to avoid any complications that could unexpectedly take place on the chosen day.

The driver:

If you’re renting, check with the company whether they provide drivers or if you’ll need to arrange with a freelance driver instead. You can, of course, drive the car yourself, be it you, your boo, a close friend of yours, or a family member.

The decoration:

The fun side of tolerating wedding rides arrangements is having the car decorated. Again, if you’re going for a rental, double-check with the company whether it provides its own decorating service or not. If you are the lucky champ responsible for having the car decorated, you need to find a suitable florist who’s also close to where you live, in order for the flowers to stay fresh. The decorations should harmonize with the wedding’s color palette and the color of the vehicle itself.
