Dieting Mistakes Every Bride Makes
Every bride knows the struggle of the pre-wedding diet. From the food restrictions to the fad health facts she would read online, and all the weird things that she would cut out and replace to make sure that once the day came, she not only lost a few extra kilos but also looked her absolute best for the pictures and the honeymoon. A bride's biggest fear is not fitting in her gown on the wedding day, which is why we have compiled all the dieting mistakes that brides tend to make when trying to cut the extra kilos but ending up only piling them on even more.
Going Down The Quick Diet Hole

What are quick diets? It’s basically the diets you find all over Instagram and Facebook that promise these great results in record breaking time, and have you only eating spinach and egg whites for 3 weeks straight. Those diets are horrible and to be avoided because a. they never work, b. they make you weaker, more tired, bloated, and you end up looking more on the sick side versus the radiant side. Which is why when it comes to dieting always start ahead of time, and do not get your dieting advice from a random Instagram account with 5k followers.

Skipping The Water

One of the biggest dieting mistakes in general and in life. Skipping water is probably the worst thing to do to your body in general, not just when dieting before your wedding day. Hydration is the most important thing to do to your body, not only does it help with digestion, and the overall system and flow of nutrients but as mentioned before it helps keep you looking radiant and beautiful. Drinking water is just better, and it also helps with metabolism, so the best thing to do is have your 8 glasses of water a day, and then add 3 or more glasses on top because you can’t have too much water.
Calorie Counting

You know when you are loading something and the loading bar won’t move because you keep staring at it? Or when you are waiting for a specific time and you keep staring at the clock and the time just won’t move? Calorie counting is the same thing but worse. Not only is it actually not beneficial for your diet because you can have something low in calories and high in sugar so it ends up being processed in your body as fats, but it’s overall not an accurate way in determining weight loss at all. Did we also mention it’s very depressing, so skipping calorie counting is the best thing you can do!
In fact, if you are planning on dieting before your big day our best piece of advice is to make an appointment with a nutritionist to make sure you are taking the appropriate amount of calories into account, while not harming your health in any way, and definitely avoid these dieting mistakes.
