He stood there -in his light blue blazer, white pants, shades, and tanned loafers- looking straight ahead at the blue sea with sweating palms and a fast pumping chest, waiting for her soft touch to caress his strong upright shoulders. For a few moments there, his world went entirely silent in anticipation. What he felt was way more intense than when he played it back in his mind a million times over. The moment was priceless. One touch, he turned around to face her, and all at once all his insides were on fire with unspeakable emotions of love, longing, desire, and joy. Even though people cheered and screamed their names, he only saw her and nothing else. It was just the two of them holding each other on the soft sands by the sea.
For this week’s wedding feature Habeeba and Yehia said their vows and arranged a heart-melting, fun surfer wedding at Matarma Bay Ras Sudr. For sure a destination wedding is always fun, especially at Matarma Bay which is located in the middle of all kitesurfing centers in Ras Sudr, where you get to enjoy the beautiful waters of the Red Sea either swimming or surfing.
The summer vibes, adventure, and fun of the location have surely found their way to the bohemian whimsical themed wedding where everyone was literally high from laughter and joy! Bridesmaids were all dressed in pastel summer colors and groomsmen rocked their white shirts strapped to beige shorts. The wedding reception was beautifully decorated with pampas grass at the centerpieces, the bride and groom archway, and flower pots.

The groom and his groomsmen went for a morning swim before they started getting ready for the big event. In the meantime, the bride put on her makeup and had her hair done in one of the hotel’s bungalows as her bridesmaids excitingly watched from the windows. On such an important day everything seems like a dream. A dream captured with all its details by the talented Ali Samir.
Heart racing, she opened her eyes and saw her tanned face smiling back at her in the mirror. She admired her long dark brown curls, as they were shinning more than ever, with the top strands pulled back and tied with a pearl seashell headpiece and a bridal veil. She wore a short strapless white dress with a sweetheart neckline, a separated corset-like lace and satin bodice, lace skirt and side train, teamed with pearl earrings and white sneakers. She took her pampas grass bridal bouquet into her hands, finally ready to meet the love of her life waiting outside dying to take her into his arms.
