A Loader Wedding is the Egyptian Answer to Covid19 Restrictions!
Raging Zaffa for newlyweds on a loader… Keeping social distance?
A video of an Egyptian wedding goes viral of a couple from Mansoura getting married on a loader. Despite the restrictions put by the state on weddings to control the spread of Coronavirus, the newlyweds decided to go ahead and celebrate with their family and friends anyway.
It's no news that Egyptians are masters at adapting and finding solutions to any given crisis: it's in our genes. The people at the wedding were indeed criticized for not adhering to the rules established by the World Health Organization and the Egyptian Ministry of Health. However, most comments and reactions were expressed great astonishment by the bride and groom's ability to twist around the situation and think completely out of the box in order to have their celebration and Zaffa in the end.
The video shows the bride and groom seated on the loader with two other family members. Surrounding the loader is a crowd of cheering, dancing, singing, and clapping guests. Tuktuks swirling round and round in between. A local Damietta band playing their instruments enthusiastically for the Zaffa. ِAbig crowd with no masks and no social distancing what so ever.

At the very beginning of the quarantine, a video of another loader wedding went viral on social media but back then it was an attempt to avoid the floods caused by the heavy rains that took place all over Egypt in early March. Back in October a video on YouTube went viral of newlyweds in Upper Egypt having their Zafa on yet another loader!
Could this actually start getting more popular on its way to becoming an actual trend in Egyptian weddings?!
