9 Things You Should Get Straight When Choosing Your Wedding Photographer

Your wedding is a once in a lifetime occurrence, at least for some. Keeping photographs is the only way to save this memory for life. That’s why while picking your wedding photographer, you should keep in mind these 9 simple deets.

1- Sit with your photographer twice at least:

You need to meet up with your photographer at least twice before the wedding takes place. The first time you do, stay focused on getting to know them and letting them showcase their work for you. This is also your chance to present your thoughts and ideas to them. The second meeting should be more about the plans, the details, and the theme of the shoot. 

2- Share your mutual interests with your photographer:

Write down a list with your spouse-to-be of all the things that you both commonly love and admire. Handover the list to your photographer and give them the time and space to come up with various creative ideas for the shoot.

3- Present your ideas:

4- Pre-wedding photo session:

If you’re having a pre-wedding photo session, let the photographer know what you’ll show up wearing and the colors that you’ll choose to go with.

5- The golden hour: 

The best time to take the perfect Wedding photo is one hour before sunset, that is why they call it the golden hour because it can make any photo look enchanting.

6- The venue:

Any wedding photographer has to examine the venue at least once before the day of the wedding, in order to arrange and plan right, in advance. 

7- Time the group photos right:

For your own sake and the sakes of your partner and your photographer, Fix a specific time during the wedding when group photos are to be taken with friends and family.

8- Enjoy it:

You cannot predict everything before it happens, sometimes, unexpected happenings take place. Keep that thought in mind whenever you feel your mood is changing throughout the wedding. The whole purpose of the day is that you get to enjoy it to the fullest.
