Your Henna Night or also known as bachelorette is fast approaching and you’ve already put so much effort as a bride into trying to organize the perfect night. However, you still have to worry about those final touches that make all the difference. Our job is to help you get to the finish line by bringing your attention to what needs to be done. Let’s make this night count! 8 things to do two days before your henna/Bachelorette:

1-Get your body ready

This is one of those nights when you’re going to want to throw on whatever you want. A lot of brides even like to prepare multiple outfits for the occasion just for the fun of it. If you’re a lady who likes to have a body as hair-free as a baby, then you’ve got to find time to get that body ready before the wild night. You have to also consider the time it’ll take for the redness of your skin to fade.

2-Scrub before and moisturize after

An important part of getting your body ready is scrubbing and moisturizing. Exfoliate your body using a body scrub to get rid of dead skin cells and moisturize after you’re done drying your body. If you’re getting rid of unwanted hair, place the process in the middle between scrubbing and moisturizing.

3-Don’t last-minute it

If you’re going all diva by changing into a number of different costumes/outfits on your henna night, make sure that you’re all prepared beforehand because last-minute shopping is almost always frustrating and you don’t need that fuss when you only have 2 days to go.

4-Don’t be an oppressor

Ask for help when creating your music playlist if you don't want to fall into the trap of becoming too subjective and ending up ruining the bachelorette by only playing the music that you like and not taking other peoples’ tastes into consideration.

5-Indulge yourselves

Food is one of life’s mightiest pleasures, and your night surely needs to include feeding your girls at some point! Go snack shopping and make sure to order in or go out and eat at a fancy place in celebration! FYI, your girls should pay for themselves if you dine out. Don’t forget to stay hydrated ;)

6-Consider Goldfish memories

We all have friends with bad memories who need to be reminded of things all the damn time. Save yourself the trouble and create a Facebook or Whatsapp group where you can share all the necessary details and remind them all of whatever it is you want to remind them of, at once.

7- Enslave a friend for a good cause

Pick your most socially active (online wise) friend and ask her to become the photographer/videographer for the henna night, capturing the most fun and intimate moments that go down!

8-S L E E P

When sleep is sound, health and happiness abound! Don’t underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep, especially the one that has to come before a night as exhausting as a bachelorette!
