Large

Lately, it seems like weddings have become bigger and better but when it counts, you feel like something is missing. Maybe the music was just too loud when it didn’t need to be, or the chairs where gorgeous but made your back hurt if you sat too long on them. Well, we’ve compiled a list of 5 things you can do, or better yet ask your wedding planner to do, to elevate your dream day! The best thing about this list is, there are no fireworks necessary, but always encouraged!

Entertainment

The first thing you can do to elevate your day is to invest in entertainment, don’t just get what's popular but also get what you will enjoy. If you can maybe get a variety of entertainers but make sure you are comfortable with the acts and not just pressured into it. Remember if you are not forced to listen to music you don’t enjoy.

Food

Idea number two is food, most opt for a buffet and catering, but that doesn’t mean you have no control, really pick the meals you want served, and the desserts of course. Don’t like this particular dish don't serve it, but also keep in mind there are about 100 other people eating with you, so maybe don’t go to particular with the taste that you forget you aren’t ordering for one.

Staff

Staff is also something that can really make or break a night, if the venue is beautiful, the food is great, but the staff is less than, the day really feels off. Make sure the people you are hiring or the company you are hiring through only brings the best of the best, and if you have a problem handle it delicately. This is after-all an elegant event, and you don’t want people to cause a scene.

Personalization

Personalization is really what sets apart your day from every other wedding on the timeline, people see flowers and fireworks and think oh another wedding, but when they see your names up in lights. Maybe monogrammed on the napkins and table-sets, or in a neon sign in the entryway, they think this is not just another wedding, this is THEIR wedding

Ambiance

Speaking of fireworks, the ambiance can be set with more than just explosions in the sky. Consider candles EVERYWHERE. Okay, maybe not everywhere due to fire hazards but carefully placed here and there for artistic purposes. They really do make the scene more romantic and create a wonderful atmosphere and provide a great lightening for selfies by the way. Remember to add your personal touch here and there and really be part of the planning process so your style can shine through the day, oh and congratulations.
